About Tidal Force
The FIRST Robotics Competition is a program available to 9th-12th graders across the world. FRC gives high school students real-life STEM experiences through an intense 6-week build season, followed by a 2 month competition season. Each year FIRST releases a new game, which challenges students in their design, testing and building of the robot to perform certain functions within the game. Teams then compete with and against each other at competitions all around the world.
Tidal Force is a FIRST Robotics Competition team and 501(c)3 non-profit organization located at Concord High School. We strive to give our students STEM experiences, as well as the opportunity to learn and develop professional skills. Our organization is student-run, with mentors supporting the team in both technical and professional aspects.
Tidal Force aims to develop well-rounded and passionate engineers, and inspire the greater Concord community with STEM education. We give our students opportunities outside of technical development, such as business and human resources management, social media, community outreach, strategy, collaboration, and media production.
